It’s always GREATER in Granbury July 4th! The Granbury Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Each year the Chamber designs and manages this festival that brings 50,000 people to Granbury and Hood County to celebrate our nation's independence!
Many activities will happen throughout Granbury. Below is a description of each event. Art & Craft Booths
Historic Downtown Square Granbury’s Historic Downtown Square hosts over 100 booths containing homemade and hand-embellished items ranging from jewelry to barbwire art from Texas and the nation.

Shanley Park Enjoy picturesque Shanley Park while the kids thrill to inflatable slides, bounce houses and other exciting games. Hometown Parade
Downtown Granbury Reserve your spot early for the Hometown Parade that features floats and entries from 100 businesses and organizations.
Parade Route
Parade pushes from Granbury High School at 10 a.m. and heads east on Pearl Street, around the square and west on Bridge Street to completion. Tom Ward Memorial Decorated Bike Contest Prior to the Hometown Parade, kids of all ages can bring their decorated bikes, wagons and strollers to win a $50 savings bond and then join the parade around the square. Reunion Grounds (Northeast of the Square)
$7 for adults at the gate Come watch cowboys and cowgirls compete in wild cow milking, calf-branding, mugging, pasture roping and team penning. Then stay for the best seat in the county to watch the fireworks over Lake Granbury. Future PBR Bullriding and Texas Country Concert

$10 for adults, $5 for kids at the gate Watch local young cowboys take the bull by the horns and then stay for a swinging good time with the Dirt Road Gypsies performing in the arena. Proceeds will benefit the Cook Children's Hospital Christmas Fund. Talley Amusements Carnival Rides
Old Mike Brown Ford (Hwy. 377 and FM 4, Northwest of town) This is the best carnival in the country enjoyed at the State Fair of Texas and throughout the nation. Bring the kids out to ride the choo-choo train and treat yourself to a Ferris Wheel ride for the best view of Granbury. And bring your pitching arm and take home some prizes.
