The 2010 GPD Citizens Appreciation Day, (our version of National Night Out) has been set for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2010 at the City Park from 2-5PM directly behind the City Service Center………..please mark your calendars accordingly. As with the past couple of years we expect the crowd(s) to grow even larger moving it to a date when we will have cooler temperatures and it will take all of us to pull this event off, Police and Volunteers alike! Invitations to all emergency service providers and/or non-profit organizations supporting the LE effort, who have participated with us in previous year’s are currently being sent out seeking their involvement once again. Unlike last year, the Red River Shootout between TEXAS and OKLAHOMA does not fall on this particular Saturday………………allowing more folks to turn out for this event!

It is not our intent to overlook any civic group or other non-profit organization that supports our law enforcement effort(s).
