Ribbon Cutting - City of Granbury Water Treatment Plant
A Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held on February 22 for the Phase I Surface Water Treatment Plant located at 1420 East Pearl Street. The City of Granbury has begun design on the first 2.5 million gallons per day (MGD) phase of an ultimate 7.5 MGD water treatment plant. The entire project will replace the existing 40-year-old water treatment plant with a modern facility that will treat the water more effectively and efficiently. This is the pilot phase before moving forward with the full water treatment plant construction. Pictured below cutting the ribbon is Nin Hulett, Wayne McKethan, Alva Cox and Mickey Parson along with Chamber Ambassadors.
